Calamari: Sautéed in white wine with kalamatas, capers, garlic, and lemon
Tuna: Pacific albacore seared rare in a wasabi crust with spicy cashew-cucumber salad
Prawns: 1/2# Black Tiger prawns steamed in lager and pípian rojo
Gumbo: Smoked alligator andouille, prawns, tasso ham, albacore, okra, and IPA; dark and rich, just spicy enough; served with rice

House: Mixed freens with tomatoes, our roasted garlic-orange vinaigrette, crumbled blue cheese, and toasted hazelnuts
Caesar: Crispy Romaine with croûtons, asiago, and our garlic-anchovy dressing
Sesame Noodle: Rice noodles, Napa cabbage, cucumber, bell peppers, scallion, tomato, and basil tossed with our spicy sesame-cashew vinaigrette
Panzanella: Tuscan bread salad with tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, cucumber, fennel, garlic, basil, balsamic vinegar, and extra virgin olive oil

Sandwiches

Grilled Cheese: Cajun tasso ham or applewood smoked turkey, tomatoes, and sharp Vermont white cheddar
Sangrita Pork: Pork tenderloin marinated in sangrita, slow roasted then flamed in tequila and served with cilantro and pico de gallo
Lamb Burger: 1/3# hand-formed lamb patty with fennel relish, our pizzaiola sauce, and melted provolone
Martini Steak: 1/2# juniper-rubbed beef, broiled to order and served with tomatoes, vermouth-pickled onions, and our hot green mustard

In addition to the items shown here, the Zig Zag kitchen produces daily specials drawn from cuisines around the world. Typically, these include a special flatbread (our version of pizza), a pasta dish, and one other entrée, plus a dessert or two.

We source most of our meat, seafood, cheese, and produce from the Pike Place Market located just to the east of us. Our kitchen staff have worked at some of Seattle's finest restaurants, and their experience shows. Check out our menus to the left, and be sure to scroll down for our happy hour menu.
